The  word  “fruit”  has  a  complicated  past—used  for  decades  as  a  slur  to   mock and  belittle  queer  people,  by associating  them  with  being  soft,  overly sweet, or  not  masculine  enough.  At  Fruit  Stand  Clothing,  we’re  here  to flip  that  narrative.  We’ve  reclaimed  “fruit”  as  a  symbol  of  joy,  identity,  and  pride—a celebration  of  what  makes us   different.  Our name  Is  a  stand  against  shame  and  silence.  It’s  about  turning  something  that  was  once used  to  hurt  into  something  bright,  bold,  and  empowering.  To  us,  being  called  a  fruit  is  no  longer  an  insult—it’s  an  honor.
